One good thing about going out at night and shoot black and white is that you don’t have to worry about getting enough contrast in your shots. If any, there is too much 🙂 As I’m learning to decide if a scene will work in black and white before I take the shot, these high contrast night scenes with subdued colors are a good way to practice.

Post work on these Monochrom pictures is fun, the files are incredibly robust and I think i get my workflow to get the results look the way i want them to look. I also like that i don’t have to worry about white balance when shooting or doing postwork. Specially as I’m not really that good with colors 🙂

For this shot I didn’t even had to go far, this show room is almost literally next door, showing off some nice corvettes.
