Provence. Whoever has been there reminds it as a very colorful place. The red earth in Rousillion, the colorful houses, the flowers, the deep blue sea and sky. So, when I decided to visit in in early March, I was a bit hesitant to stick to the plan of taking only black and white photos this year.  What would I miss?

Just in case i would see something colorful that would be a crime not to take a color photo of, I decided to take the Fuji X100 with me.  After all, I could still convert the shots to black and white later. But as it turned out, I only took two keeper photos with it.  I’m actually much more happy with the black and white shots. Of course I was also quite lucky with the weather, it was mostly sunny

So here you go, I hope you like my black and white view of this colorful country as much as I do:)
